To complete this How-To you will need: A plant A desktop fountain or fishbowl Blue, purple, and red desk accessories A black briefcase or laptop bag Photos A desk lamp Step 1: Get rid of clutter De-clutter your desk and workspace, which is the most important thing you can do to balance the _chi_—or energy—in your office. Step 2: Toss or fix anything broken Repair or get rid of anything that’s broken—like a pen that’s out of ink or a flickering desk lamp. They block your chi. Step 3: Get a plant Put a plant on your desk to absorb energy-draining emissions from your computer. Just avoid cacti, whose pointy needles attract negative energy. Tip: Try an orchid if your job requires you to suffer fools gladly. Feng shui experts believe orchids are symbols of patience. Step 4: Have a view of the door The placement of your desk and chair should allow you to see who’s coming into the room. Business and opportunity symbolically come to you through the door; so don’t …

Chair Leg Caps – The Importance of Protecting Your Floors
One of the worst things that can happen to a home is to get a ton of horrible, deep scratches and dents put into your nice hardwood floors. Not only do these look ugly, but you won’t get around to fixing them ever. The best way to deal with these problems is to prevent them from the beginning. Preventing these scratches and dents is as easy as making breakfast, which you do every day. It’s probably cheaper than making breakfast though, which is nice to hear because it can cost thousands of dollars to repair and resurface your hardwood floor.
Chair leg caps are the solution to those scratches that are found under your chairs all over your house. They are extremely cheap, typically around $10 for a bag of them, and they will save you from thousands of dollars of repairs down the road. There are a few things to keep in mind, though, when considering purchasing these chair leg caps. The first thing is the size of the cap. You want the cap to fit correctly, or else it will just cause more problems. A cap that is too small can still leave the chair leg exposed to the wood, and perhaps result in scratches even still. A cap that is too big will just fall off of the chair leg and you will probably scratch the floor when putting the chair back down. Find a cap that fits perfectly over the chair that requires some hassle to get off, so you will be fully covered.
Another thing to consider is the type and color of the cap you want. There are two types of these caps: slip on caps and screw in caps. It is easy to determine which type of cap you will want to use by merely looking at the chair leg itself and determining this from your own perspective. Now, the color is not to be taken lightly. When adding something to furniture, such as this, you don’t want it to stand out and create an eye sore. Pick a color that blends in nicely with the chair leg itself so it doesn’t reduce the appeal factor of the nice furniture you paid so much money for in the first place.
Remember, chair leg caps are an important investment that will save you hundreds or thousands down the road. Make sure to pick the right size, color, and style of cap and cover all of your chair legs with them as soon as possible to prevent any future damage to your floors.

An American Christmas Carol – Part Seven of Ten
You could also call this Fonzie Plays Scrooge. Of course were talking about Henry Winkler here and in 1979 and with five years of Happy Days already on his resume, Winkler was cast as the Americanized version of Ebenezer Scrooge. Of course, it wasn’t Winkler’s first dramatic starring role having already starred in the big screen dramedy Heroes with Sally Field and in the big screen comedy The One and Only. Neither film was particularly boffo at the box office either. The problem with becoming a legendary television icon as Winkler was when he played Fonzie, it’s tough for people to see you as anything else no matter how good you may be in another role. From IMDB: Based in the depression era, a take on the “Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. “Mr Benjamin Slade” as played by Henry Winkler, is the remaining owner of “S&L Finance” after the death of his long time partner Jack Latham (Ken Pogue). Mr Slade and his assistant, “Mr Thatcher” (RH Thomson) make their rounds on Christmas eve to repossess items from the townspeople who have been unable to keep up with payments. After a long day of collecting his “valuable merchandise”, Mr Slade returns to his business, fires his sensitive assistant and then is confronted by his dead partner and three spirits in the form of the people he repossessed from that day. And you can pretty much guess the rest of the story. Honestly, this film is much better than it is often given credit for and you seldom hear it mentioned when it comes to …

How to Arrange Your Store Effectively
The first thing that you need to do before opening a store is arranging your furniture. This factor is important for all store owners since they need to accommodate their customer shopping needs.
The first thing that you need to consider before arranging your furniture is the customer. Define the customer in your place. There are two major types of customer. The first type is a customer that needs to look at all the stuff before choosing anything. The second type is a customer that will grab their need immediately.
Based on those types, you can think which furniture will be very good for your place. If you have defined the customer, you can arrange your place to please them. But for beginner, you need to make a middle way. Since you have opened a new store, you need to pay attention on your customer shopping habit.
The first rule for a new owner is comfortable. You need to arrange a comfortable store. This situation can be created from your furniture and merchandise. If you want to display several merchandise, put it in distinct arrangement. This display will be a point of interest for your customer. You need also make a breathing space between the displays. Some people say that shopping is affected by the person’s emotion. Have you ever seen a customer that is excited with their shopping activities especially when they found a very interesting store or item? This is the answer for your marketing strategies. Taking Regular Rest Breaks From Your Computer
If you regularly use a personal computer, at home or work, you may not realize the effect long periods using a computer can have on our bodies. For most of us problems like repetitive strain injury (RSI) and carpal tunnel are not things we need to worry about, but at the end of the day how many of us have a sore back, sharp pain in our shoulders, or blurry vision? You may not even realize that these could be caused by long periods or computer use, or that they can easily be prevented.
Working at a computer may not seem like strenuous activity, but sitting in an unsupported position, or slouching, can lead to annoying aches and pains. How often do you find yourself hunching your shoulders and leaning on your desk? Not only does this put strain on your shoulders and back, it also brings your eyes to close to the screen, which can lead to tired eyes. Maybe at home you sit on the sofa with a notebook on your knees, or on a coffee table, either way the computer is unlikely to be at a height to encourage good posture.
One solution can be to invest in an ergonomic desk, chair and computer accessories, though these are often prohibitively expensive. And of course this will not help if we want to sit in the comfort of our homes and surf the Internet and reply to emails. One simple solution, that we can all do, is to take regular rest breaks from our computer activity. As little as five minutes in every hour of computer use to take the time to rest our eyes, and stretch our muscles can help relieve the discomfort that comes from the immobility and poor posture.
Maybe it is your eyes that are causing you problems. If you suffer from dry, scratchy eyes, or if you are aware of a burning sensation in your eyes towards the end of the day, these can all be symptoms of eyestrain. Eyestrain is caused by staring at a fixed object for long periods of time with out a break, lowering our blink rate and putting strain on the muscles that control our eyes. Even using the computer in the evening, after a days work, as part of leisure time can put tired eyes under more strain. Taking a couple of seconds to simply look away from the screen at a distant object, or closing your eyes to rest them can ease the symptoms eyestrain.
Taking time away from any repetitive activity, allows our bodies and muscles to recover and rest, and working at a computer is no different. Using a piece of software to remind us to take a rest break from our computers is a great way to improve our computer habits. Take the time to correct your posture, go a walk, have a drink or just rest your eyes and you will soon be feeling the benefits both mentally and physically.
